I traveled to Florence for the first time in 2012 and immediately fell in love with this enchanting city.
As someone who teaches art, I feel so blessed to have set foot in the city considered as the birthplace of the Renaissance.
To be able to walk down the same cobbled streets as the masters like Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo, and Botticelli, and to bask in the glory and grandeur of this rich, opulent city was such a thrilling experience that I keep going back whenever the opportunity arises.
From Florence, one can go to other Tuscan cities like Siena, Pisa, and San Gimignano, where one can find breathtaking views of vineyards and dine under the blue Tuscan sky. Inspiration abounds in every corner. Because of this, I will be traveling there with some students participating in the Tuscan Art Workshop and Tour that I’m arranging for June 2017 which will be featured on this website. We will explore this wonderful Italian region and create beautiful art together. I hope that this experience will show them why I love Florence and why it is my ultimate happy place.
